Salt Water sandals have been cult classics in the States for over 70 years, ever since Walter Hoy started making them with scrap leather from military boots during wartime shortages in 1940. They’ve been gracing the feet of cool kids ever since – and now they’re here.

Perfect for the Aussie lifestyle, Salt Water, and their cousins Sun-San sandals, are crafted from durable, leather. They mould to the shape of the foot with repeated wear, a process that speeds up when wet, so they’re perfect for wearing to the beach, splashing in the sea, pounding pavements or just hanging out.

Best of all, when they need a clean they come up sparkling new with a hand-wash in cold water with mild detergent.

They’ve been going down a storm since we first started bringing them to our shores in 2010, so we’ve increased the range of styles, colours and sizes. Now we can all enjoy a little bit of cool Americana.
